Pajamas & Poker

Saturday was our Pajamas and Poker friends evening.
I decided since it was just a few days before the V-day, I would use some of the great printables and recipes flloating around the web for the day of love.

First.  These Valentine's Let's Make Whoopie Pies (called strawberry heart oreos) were delish!
**I only used 3 cups of Powdered Sugar - YUM-E!
They were taken and served on a elegant doily sprinkled with a bit of chocolate love (in the form of Hershey kisses, Dove chocolates and a couple Lindt truffles) for good measure.

Also, delish was the Love Potion #9 I created .  I knew I wanted to use these very cool Love Potion #9 labels which are available as a free printable from The Dating Divas Blog. So, I foraged through the limited liquor I had and found Raspberry Margarita Mix.  It is so very Valentine in color (don't you think)? So, here's the delicious recipe that I created:

2 Cups   Lemon Juice
2 Cups   Raspberry Margarita Mix (mine was Daily's)
2 Liters   Lemon-Lime Soda (mine was Soda Stream)
1 Full Bottle of White Wine
6 Packets of Sweetener (mine was Splenda)

It was delicious!  My husband (who loves his beer) loved it!

Lastly, our final contribution to the evening included my (also Delish) Jalapeno Popper Recipe:

15 Jalapenos halved & deseeded
Mix together:
1 brick cream cheese
1/2 pound of hot sausage - cooked and drained
2 tablespoons of Tastefully Simple Bacon Bacon
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Fill jalapenos halves
Roll Jalapenos in:
Bread Crumbs
Bake at 350 for 2 0minutes or until bubbly!

Hope your day was as fun as ours...I'll add pics soon.
